I have never had a female dog. But I was inspired by the coming of spring this year to create a motif with a feminine, delicate feel. I was at a loss for a name. So I asked my friends at Bead Patterns Boutique to suggest names. I gave them the same challenge given to Dr. Seuss with each of his books. I asked them to use the words "heart" and/or "lace" in their names. The name I chose came from Carol Delong. Thanks for helping me describe this repeatable, adjustable collar motif in true Seussian style.
