Turtles spend most of their time in the water. But they must come on land to lay their eggs. For this reason, their power is said to combine both the sea and the land, or the emotional and rational. When a turtle appears to you, maybe it is time to "come ashore "and "lay eggs" that will hatch into something new in the future.
This two-page pattern features a full-color graph-style beading chart, a color key with suggested Delica bead colors and bead counts, diagrams for the fringe, top closure and hanging loops, and a color photo of the finished tassle pendant.
This pattern does not include a chain pattern. I have left that to the beaders own creativity. I think it would look good on a spiral rope or a strung cord which compliments the tassel.
