Even Count Tubular Peyote Stitch is an Intermediate level beading technique which can be used to create beaded tubes or cylinders. A Vision Quest is a rite of passage. It is a time spent in an uninhabited place, usually preceeded by a time a purification and fasting, that allows us to reconnect with nature and search for answers to the problems in our physical lives.

The beaded band on this cover features four eight-pointed star motifs and four diamond patterns. The eight-pointed star is also known as the Morning Star and is used in the quilts that are taken on Vision Quests. The ornament also has a generous amount of fringe.

The cover fits a round ornament with an approximate diameter of 2.5 inches.

The four-page pattern features:

  • a large graph style beading chart for the ornament band
  • a color key with suggested delica bead color and bead counts for the band
