Bear Paw Print Lighter Cover-Big

Bear Paw Print Lighter Cover-Big Instant Access!
When my Bead Angel, Jan Hebert-Parmente, was beading up this bead pattern for the paw print series, she said it made her think of a bear paw print. Upon looking at it further, I realized she was right so this series is now called the Bear Paw Print. There are only two patterns beaded up right now. This big lighter cover and an amulet bag panel.

The bear totem stands for strength, confidence, a warrior spirit and the courage to fight. It also stands for taking action or taking leadership. The bear totem also stands for healing of yourself and others. This healing can be in the form of emotional, physical or spiritual needs. There are other meanings for this totem with the Greeks, Romans and the Celts; but they are all basically the same.

You can use different colors to make this amulet bag fit any wardrobe.

Cherokee Rose Big Lighter Cover

Cherokee Rose Big Lighter Cover Instant Access!
My Bead Angel, Pat Tipton aka Mama Hen, suggested that I go ahead and use her pattern to make a lighter cover for my customers. Here is the result of that request. I love the pattern. It is so lovely. Pat did a wonderful job with the original that I had to tweek to fit into a lighter cover for my friends. I hope you will enjoy beading it as much as Pat and I enjoyed creating it. This cover will fit a large Bic.

Legend of the Cherokee Rose
When the Trail of Tears started in 1838, the mothers of the Cherokee were grieving and crying so much, they were unable to help their children survive the journey. The elders prayed for a sign that would lift the mother’s spirits to give them strength. The next day a beautiful rose began to grow where each of the mother’s tears fell. The rose is white for their tears; a gold center represents the gold taken from Cherokee lands, and seven leaves on each stem for the seven Cherokee clans. The wild Cherokee Rose grows along the route of the Trail of Tears into eastern Oklahoma today.

This pattern has alphabetic characters for the bead color to make the word chart easier to read.

My Bead Angel, Pat Tipton aka Mama Hen, beaded this beautiful big lighter cover for me. I asked her what she thought about what I had done with her pattern and was answered that she loved it

Mistletoe Big Lighter Cover Instant Access!
Mistletoe has been in folklore and mythology since the 13th century.  In mythology, it stood for the devine male essence.  Then when Christianity came to Europe, both the mythological and Christian meanings were mixed.  This is where the practice of a couple standing under the mistletoe around Christmas time had to kiss.  The very first time this happened, which is documented, was the 16th century.

This lighter cover is all covered with mistletoe for celebrating Christmas. The red background just sets off the green and white of the mistletoe. This lighter cover fits a big Bic lighter.

Penguins are so cute. I just keep thinking of ideas for them.  This time, the little penguins have multiplied. There are 8 penguins on this cute lighter cover. Eight times the fun.  This cover fits a Bic Big lighter.

This pattern has alphabetic characters for the bead color to make the word chart easier to read.

My Bead Angel, Angel Metz (my daughter), tested this pattern for me.  She had ulterior motives though.  She loves penguins and just couldn't resist having the set for her own.

Penguins Mini Lighter Cover Instant Access!
Again with the Penguins, I have created this cute lighter cover that will fit a Bic Mini lighter.  My Bead Angel, Ellen Roskopp, requested that I make a pattern for this and since she loves the penguins, too, I decided to make this pattern for her.  This cute little lighter cover holds 2 penguins.  This makes the fifth piece of an accessory set.  What fun!

This has me wondering what else I can make to add to the accessory sets.  What do you think?  If you think of anything, just let me know.

This pattern was beaded up by my Bead Angel, Ellen Roskopp.
