| I love the old-fashioned look of filigree crochet. Using clear delica beads, I was able to create a transparent/translucent look for a delicate votive candle wrap. Usually for a candle wrap I suggest using cotton thread to prevent melting. But for this project, I used a nylon thread to enhance the transparent effect. However, I would recommend burning tea lights in the votive holder to keep the thread from possibly melting.
