Mistletoe Tealight Cover by Grandma Marilyn's

Instant Access!

This lovely tealight cover displays 2 bunches of mistletoe. What a wonderful way to light up your life.

Mistletoe has been in folklore and mythology since the 13th century.  In mythology, it stood for the devine male essence.  Then when Christianity came to Europe, both the mythological and Christian meanings were mixed.  This is where the practice of a couple standing under the mistletoe around Christmas time had to kiss.  The very first time this happened, which is documented, was the 16th century.

Terri Ettling-Shell, my bead angel, tested this design. She placed her tealight cover on a battery operated tealight from the Dollar Store.

This pattern has alphabetic characters for the bead color to make the word chart easier to read.
