June 14th is Flag Day in the USA. It celebrates the day that the Second Continental Congress authorized the USA to adopt a flag as a symbol of the new nation.
On Flag Day (and many other patriotic celebrations) citizens have an opportunity to show their patriotism by displaying the flag. This tea light cover gives you another way to show your patriotism.
It is done in Square Stitch and fits a standard tea light. I would not recommend working it on a loom, because I have not figured out a safe way to deal with the warp threads.
Please be sure to use cotton thread to stitch your project. A nylon thread may melt when you burn your tealight.
The two page pattern features a large graph style beading chart, a color key with suggested delica bead colors and bead counts, a color photo of the finished tea light, and illustrated instructions to help you zip-up your tea light cover.
